Th 400 Heavy duty transmission, this transmission was just rebuilt and is in perfect working condition. It would cost you over $800.00 dollars to rebuild a unit like this.

---Would cost anyone here about a 1/4 of your asking price and it would come out 10 times better than that $800 boat anchor you're trying to pawn off here :). My Business partner will rebuild any TH200, TH250, TH350, TH375, or TH400 for $200. He chages more to do C-4's C-6's, or power glides. He does not do over drive transmissions. If your in a hurry and need in back in 4 days, there is an extra $200 charge.

That's $200 US. If he supplies the case, and does not get a good core in return: $50 on most $150 on TH-400 HD cases, $100 on regular 400 cases, $175 on B-O-P 400 cases. Charles

Were located outside of Dayton Ohio. What type TH350 do you need? I may have a good used unit in stock. Charles

No ideal, Came out of a 80's model full size Chevy Van, I believe its a Long tail shaft. If I need to be more specific tell me how to get the info you need and I'll be glad to post. Believe it or not, my uncle makes weekly runs to Columbus Ohio for delivery, I could have him drop one off to be fixed then picked back up week or two later or if you've got a good used one for a decent price I'd just have him grab one of them, I do have a 400 Turbo, I have no specs on it, that is supposed to be good, if you'd give me a decent trade value on it, I'd be willing to swap the 400 turbo and some cash to get a good 350 turbo that would fit in my Van. Thanks in Advance

Measure the tail shaft. A Short tail is has a 6 inch shaft, a mid is a

9 inch shaft, and a long tail is a 12 inch shaft. I hounestly can not recall which ones van's used, out of the mid to long tails. The only TH350's I have in good used units are short tails.

As for a trade in, at the moment we have to many core cases. So I would rather not do a trade in.

The rebuilding takes between a week to one month depending on how busy we are. If your interested, e mail me at: snipped-for-privacy@yahoo.com

And Ill give you the address and reciving hours. Charles

Charles:

Do you have a good TH400HD maybe even a ZX core on hand?

Let me know if you do?

R-K remind me what the ZX cores came in from the factory. I may have a core or a good unit. Charles

TH400HD ZX was in:

vettes with a 350 LTI, big block of any HP rating, any Camaro, Chevelle or Impala with a big block.

It has the extra large clutch drums, and the improved oiling in the main shaft. Which B&M sells for a pretty penny now.

I have a home for it outside, then I can have a little fun, before the end of the summer hopefully. The only other way this will fly is with a Richmond/Nash or most preferably a lenco. I'd like to see if the Allison has the same computer inputs as the 60, and 80.

Maybe I can use the ECM to run one of them later, but for now, I want to have some fun.

Let me know in e-mail please. I'll let you know what it is, you'll shit!
