or is there not a single person in rec.autos.makers.ford.mustang that can spell or use proper punctuation? Dear Lord! It's painful to read! Perhaps their fingers are just faster than their minds.. =o) That *must* be it..

Yep.

I think that is why we shift better.
Don Manning
Puulease, my 88' Bird with 180,000 miles on the clock shifts much better or at least more comfortably than my 00' Mustang vert does with
50,000 on it. Both have T-5's in them....Ron

What you failed to mention is that while you're shifting, us F body guys have already passed you and you're looking at tail lights :).

Mustang ride versus Camarobird ride; After the first year, Mustangs don't sound like rattletraps. I rode in a 5 year old Firebird and thought it was going to disintegrate. I couldn't hear the radio over the creaking and clanking.
-Rich
I didn't know Mustangs lasted longer than a year :). Joe--ASE Certified Parts Specialist & 10th Ann.Club Tech Director '80 Carousel Red Turbo T/A, 26k orig. '79 "Y89" 400/4 speed 10th Ann. T/A, 57k orig '84 Olds 88 Royale Bgm 2 dr, 307 "Rocket" (lol), 141k and still going.... '80 T/A project car...
LOL
Dats it, tell da bitch Joe!
Refinish King
PS LOFL
Are you certain it wasn't your tight ass squeaking?
Refinish King
PS After all, all of you Mustang people agree. By buying the Mustang, you are buying the economy car!
LOL Again!
Score two for Joe!
Refinish King
I will agree, it is the car that the Economy chose. That would be why it is still here.
Don Manning
You would have to get ahead of a few to know that body style had change. You probably just don't recognize any of them?
Don Manning
He scored once before?
Don Manning
If one does get by me, I am looking at the Mullet flapping in the breeze...not the tail lights.
