Is it just me?

or is there not a single person in rec.autos.makers.ford.mustang that can spell or use proper punctuation? Dear Lord! It's painful to read! Perhaps their fingers are just faster than their minds.. =o) That *must* be it..

Puulease, my 88' Bird with 180,000 miles on the clock shifts much better or at least more comfortably than my 00' Mustang vert does with

50,000 on it. Both have T-5's in them.

What you failed to mention is that while you're shifting, us F body guys have already passed you and you're looking at tail lights :).

Mustang ride versus Camarobird ride; After the first year, Mustangs don't sound like rattletraps. I rode in a 5 year old Firebird and thought it was going to disintegrate. I couldn't hear the radio over the creaking and clanking.

Are you certain it wasn't your tight ass squeaking?

PS After all, all of you Mustang people agree. By buying the Mustang, you are buying the economy car!

I will agree, it is the car that the Economy chose. That would be why it is still here.

You would have to get ahead of a few to know that body style had change. You probably just don't recognize any of them?

If one does get by me, I am looking at the Mullet flapping in the breeze...not the tail lights.
