The button that removes the overdrive is located on the end of the gear range selector lever. I used to change the setting on the fly. Recently I got stuck and had to dig my way out. Before digging, I tried rocking in
4wheel high and 4wheel low. I dug my way out and drove back out in 4wheel high.
Sorry for the lengthy background. It could be relevant. After resuming on road driving the OD selector switch became fickle and eventually stopped working except in Park.
Any thoughts?
