Slight Miss under acceleration

Hello,

95 EB Exp 4.0 OHV, AT 103k miles

I did some work and had some done by others over the last week.

1st Installed new plug wires. Plugs were changed at about 65k.

2nd Check engine light solved with replacement of DPFE sensor.

  1. Transmission T-Tech flushed and filled by Penzoil service. I had previously done this service myself, replacing with Mobil 1 atf, and Jeff Singletons method, but was short on time, this time so I had Penz do it.

DPFE sensor replacement is pretty much idiot proof, but when I did the spark plug wires, it was hard to see the original routing, so I may have not re-routed them exactly as before.(Just the allignment of the wires only: They were put back correctly on the correct plugs/distrib cap locations and di-electric greased but they may have been routed around the motor twisted around each other.) I've heard of wires crossing might cause a miss? The di-elec grease is on the metal, porcelin and rubber parts of the wires/plugs/ and distrib cap. Should it be kept off the metal to metal connections?

ATF level is fine, but it's technically possible that Penz people put in wrong fluid. From now on, it's one repair at a time!

Thanks for any helpful suggestions Ted
