On my '00 Windstar, there are 2 symptoms that I think are related, but haven't found a document that tells how to troubleshoot. The first is that the indicator on the instrument panel that looks like an orange/yellow bulb is on, and the 2nd is that the right rear tail or brake light remains on for
15 minutes or so after the car is parked. My op guide says that the indicator light says that an external bulb has failed, but I haven't found one that's out yet.
Any idea what's happening here?
