Just bought a 93 Probe 2.0L auto in good condition. Runs until it warms up then quits. Fuel pump reset ok. Was told by Ford dealership that the distributor is probably pooched. I've seen a few postings on the net which seem to confirm this. Any thoughts? Thanks

They go bad. Assuming it IS bad and not something else, and you want to drive that car, then it will have to be replaced. $150 US, $25 core, plus labour. Just did one two months ago on a 92.
could also just be the ignition module, which would be replaced with a new distributor.
