1994 Ford Explorer rust issue

Sep 17, 2007 1 Replies

I recently bought a '94 Explorer XLT with a lot of great options for $400 + $117 to fix the P/S....but I'd like to know from those who've owned them for a while...is it normal that the running boards are rusting off? Is it a design flaw? Would it add any value to the car to get them fixed (even doing it myself) or should I just leave it be?

Also, I can't figure out for the life of me how big my rear windshield wiper is so I can replace it. Anyone know?

Thanks!

Measure it , by a universal one slightly longer and cut it to size.
