i have a 3.8 windstar and am receiving a po304 (misfire in bank 4) am i right in assuming this is probally a spark plug wire or spark plug itself??? isn't bank 4 in the front of the engine facing firewall???,thanks

The code means cylinder #4 the problem. It does not mean that it is ignition, fuel or mechanical, it just means cylinder #4 is not contributing. Ignition is the most likely system that has failed. The cylinder numbers are 123 on the side of the engine that faces the firewall…
