After running my 1997 Ford F-150 4.6l for a few minutes the heater will begin to blow cold air and the temp guage will spike hot. The engine will begin to bog down and won't exceed 30 mph. After turning off the truck for a minute and restarting it will run fine. i just replaced the battery and thermostate.
