fuse keeps blowing in my fan blower? tried a slightly bigger one and blew it also. Car is a ford galaxy

Does the fan turn freely? (MAKE SURE power is off BEFORE putting fingers in to test this...)

it could be that it's got grass/string/old cassette tape stuck in it, so is taking a higher drain than expected.
