strip that engages a gear that's attached to the motor shaft. The nylon
strip is worn or broken, and the fix is to get a new antenna mast with a
new nylon strip attached. If the nylon strip isn't broken off inside the
motor housing, replacement is easy, and accessing the antenna motor
itself isn't required.
