it is easy to to change take the cover around the bottom off take ashtray out you dont have to take the radio out i replace them all the time it take about 30 min to take it apart and take part off and put it back together when you take the blend motor out look at the heater caseing that it slides into and make sure that the control door is not broke you can tell by looking at it will have a complete circle you will know if it is broken when you look at it i have seen the control door slot broken cause sometime you can push the blend motor to get it ingaged and you think that blend motor is bad when the contril door is bad
