Replacing Front Struts on 97 Taurus

Is it possible to replace the struts on a 1997 Taurus without disconnecting the brake caliper, tie rod, lower control rod and drive axle from the steering knuckle?

That depends on how much grief you want to put yourself through...

disconnecting

yes.just take loose lower pinch bolt and remove sway bar link.then four nuts on strut tower.not the center nut.after strut is removed requires spring compressor to replace struts.
