If the car sets for 3 or more days, when started and put into gear the engine revs but the car does not move. After 23 seconds the car and trans behaves normally. This only happens if the car sits for 3 or more days. There are no leaks visible and the fluid level is normal.

My last 2 bulls did that. Trans went at 150k in the '88. Trans in the '94 went at 170k. Let it run for a minute to let everything pump up, its' a AXOD thing.
Forward clutch Piston? The repair is more than the car is worth.
