Water leak, dripping from right side of evaporator, 72 Must.

Jun 19, 2005 2 Replies

When hose is sprayed on windshield, water flows inside, appears to be dripping from bottom edge of evaporator box. Windshield replaced and resealed, two holes on top of cowl patched. Water does not appear to be leaking from these areas. There is a seam at the bottom of this plastic box, and there appears to be sealant all the way around. Bottom is held on by metal clips, which are intact. The vehicle is a

72 Mustang Grande. Maybe if the bottom is taken off and resealed, it might cure it?? Thanks. :o

It shouldnt be getting in there in the first place..sealing it in wont solve the problem

I would check around that cowl intake again
