So nobody out there ever had a Ford truck with transmission trouble? That's amazing. I've got two and they both have debilitating transmissions. But I'm just trying to get an idea as to what's wrong with the FMX in my '73.
None knows noise?

try f150online or ford they have forums on line about trans been a long time since i work on a fmx put it sound like it needs to be rebuilt
