1997 LeSebre losses power and stalls while driving

Hi, I have a 1997 Buick LeSebre that is acting odd. While driving for a couple of hours the car slowly lost power and then quit moving and then the engine stalled, It felt like the transmittion was out of fluid, but it is not. After about 2 minutes the car will re-start and operate fine for about 15 minutes then losses power slowly again till shut down and then I can re-start after 2 minutes again.

I suspect this is an electrical problem, but don't know where to start?

Thanks for any help!

Could it be a fuel pump pressure problem?

I had a Buick Lesabre that would stall and start again only after 15 or 20 minutes. Then, as soon as it stalled, I experimented to spray water on the crankshaft sensor and the car started without having to wait. The sensor would cause a problem only when warm. However, mine did not slowly lost power. Just an idea.
