Hi. 1988 Lesabre Custom 3.8, FWD with cruise. Dang cold out. Just
got in. Might have missed a few things...but:
1) I found a loose vacuum line draped over the brake booster. Don't
know where it's supposed to originate but the other end IS attached to
the side of what I believe is the CC regulator/diaphragm ass'y.
2)...and perhaps related...I discovered the vacuum reservoir on the
firewall (that is what that is, right?)...it has two nipples at the
bottom with vac lines attached. One disappears along the firewall
under the adjacent black plastic cover (passenger side) and the other
comes off and runs to the engine pretty much straight forward of where
it is connected to the reservoir.
So, what of the "loose" CC vac line? And does the reservoir seem
attached/hosed correctly? I know, I know, there's supposed to be a
diagram under the hood or something, but I'm just now getting warmed
up from being outside. Just curious if anyone knws of the top of
their head. Thank you.
