94 Chevy Lumina APV - Bypass A/C Compressor Pulley

May 17, 2005 0 Replies
94 Lumina APV (3.8L) A/C Compressor Clutch was making `grinding' sound. To get vehicle back in service (no A/C of course) w/o fear of seizing the clutch and throwing the belt - bypassed the compressor pulley by replacing original serpentine belt (~102") with a 73" belt.

Not sure if this will cause other (related issues) - but initial smoke test looks good!
