I'm buying a GMC truck with the Vortec 4800. I've read about the piston slap problems GM had earlier with this engine. Have the problems been fixed? Is there any difference between a 2003 and a 2004 Vortec? There's a
2003 for dealer swap that's got pretty much what I'm looking for and then some. But if need be, I could order a 2004. Thanks
