This issue is out of control and now requires a lawsuit against Pontiac/GM.
Call a lawyer and start collecting names of gm owners who have had your same
exact problem. You can probably collect thousands from this group alone. Its
time for a class action lawsuit againts GM. They have known for years of
this problem but have continued manufacturing the fault for almost 10 years!
The fault ussually occurs after warranty expires so they have no interest.
Lets sue there asses.
