Just read Honda recalling vans, with faulty fuel pumps that could cause fires, Vans built between 2004 and 2010. Wheres the media frenzy, dosnt make the news anywhere. they didnt just find this problem now after 4 years out of production did they.
Hard to say. Sometimes problems don't show up until a lot of time or miles went by.
As for the media frenzy, do you have any stats on deaths? accidents? burned out houses? If it was two vans that burnt you won't hear anything. If a couple of people got killed, then the media starts to circle.
