The Hideous 92 Roadmaster Side Mirrors

I love my 92 Roadmaster Limited. The Buick is pretty nice to drive. It's more comfortable than my recliner at home. My one major bicth about it (aside from the gas!) is that they couldn't have possibly made the side mirrors any smaller. Most women carry larger mirrors in their purse!

I'm driving 120 miles a day to Detroit, consisting of 25 miles of twisty two-lane and then 45 miles of I-75 into Detroit. To say they are irritating is an understatement... These mirrors downright drive me nuts!

I plan on keeping this Buick for life and customozing it. So, naturally the thought of changing mirrors came to mind. I thought I read somewhere that they eventually made the mirrors larger.

Just wondering... does the Roadmaster Estate Wagon have these same awful mirrors or are they larger? The thought of towing *anything* with mirrors that small makes me cringe.

Anyone have any ideas or experiences regarding changing the mirrors??

Unfortunately with most mirrors bolted to the window frame above the window sill it makes it harder to find another vehicle mirror that will bolt onto the car you have.

I seem to recall the Roadbastard mirrors bolt on the door? Is that right. I would assume the Estate wagon would have the same mirror design as your mirror.

Seeing this car shared platforms with the Caddy Brougham & Caprice, you might want to check those mirror out.

Crown Victoria & Grand Marquis have Large size mirrors, that may be another possibility.

Good Luck.

That car has more glass windows than Microsofts Head office LOL Come to think of it the wagon model of on of those GM cars has safari viewing glass too. What ya need mirrors for? Sorry just joking around,

They do sell aftermarket towing mirrors, nearly everwhere! I know they look hideous too but you'll see better, right?
