Had a shift cable break. Replaced with used from junk yard. Car would not start. Also noticed when shifting with replaced cable car would not stop from rolling out of driveway without emergency break applied. It seems car will not shift into park. Adjusted cable x 3 during last adjustment went to far and snapped cable. Just bought new cable and wanted advise. Person who drove car last thinks it was in drive during the initial breakage?
