I have a 2019 Kona I bought last December. This is the first time I wanted to use its air conditioning, but for the life of me I can't get cool air come out of the vents. Is this a known issue with Kona? I'd like to know before I see the dealership about it.

If under warranty, see the dealer. If not I'd try a local AC shop. Could be something simple but unless you check you won't know. Pressure switch, relay, lost charge, damper now closing properly are just a few possibilities.
I assume you have the proper control settings or clima4e control temperature set.
I took it back to the dealer and it turned out that the gas was missing in the climate system. Apparently that's how the car was delivered last December. The dealer said that this never happened before.
Seems odd. I had a Buick where it leaked and finally they replaced the evap coil. Yeah, when I suggested on the third trip they check the dealer said "Evap coils never go bad or leak"
