my car is 2005 elantra. The hood release handle, which is located underneath and to the left of the steering wheel, broke. i can still open the hood by pulling on the release cable (number 14 in the diagram). this link shows the diagram of what i'm talking about:

number 16 is broken.do you know if i bring the problem to the dealer, that it's covered under warranty?
