Is there any way to tell from a VIN number on an Isuzu as to the engine in it, or just who owns the vehicle. Thanks.

The VIN is assigned at the plant, so it doesn't provide any info on the owner.
Depending which model, one of the digits describes the engine. You'll have to provide model info so that someone familiar with that model can help.
