Any common problems among the X-type?

Im considering a 2002 or so X-type. Are there any common problems with the Jaguar? Is it durable to keep?

Of course the biggest problem with the X type is that it just doesn't have enough cylinders to be a real Jag...

But Stuart, the X-type with more cylinders would equal twice the failure rate. ;-)

The x-type should be a good, average car. The Tarus is.

But the Tarius is REALLY ugly , sorta like a 'roach on wheels .

And the X-Type is based on the Ford Mondeo, not the Taurus :)

Last time I checked, all Jaguars built from 1948 to 1968 were sixes ...
