Autotrader is a good source or the better car auctions, seen some junk going through the lower end ones.
Think you could probably get an N reg 3.2 XJ6 sport for about GBP 3,500 at auction, you'll get an M reg cheaper but I think they were the XJ40 type as opposed to the later X300.
