I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee with about 76,000 miles. I change the oil every 2-3000 miles, pcv, plugs, air, fuel. I am fanatical with the service of the vehicle. I put lots of highway miles on it.
Just recently my check engine light came on. I stopped at 'the zone' and they pulled a P0432 code. The code translated to 'Main Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2'. I thought that the fix was cut and dry, replace both O2 sensors (never changed). However reading thru a couple news threads i'm starting to doubt my diagnosis. Furthur looking at the other codes there are specific code for O2 sensors that malfunction. Can some one help or shed some light?
Thanx,
Bohack
