been looking around and seeing isolated remarks about the cylinder head for the six in the 2001 cherokees. anybody have any insight into this or should i be worried. 2001 cherokee sport with 139,000 miles. thanks and merry christmas and happy new year. john jr

If it has 139,000 miles already it's probably got some more in it. I don't know about any widespread cylinder head problem with this vehicle.

Casting #0331 is the problem. Later model 2002 fixed this but there was no recall.
