How much of a pain was the herculiner. Gotta pretty well take EVERYTHING out eh?! Cost?

Yep, those should hold up just fine. My dealer replaced my cracked '97 header with the newly redesigned '99 crack-resistant header and 95,000 miles later, it's still fine.

How much does a Borla header run,about? I happened to have called the Banks 800 number,today.They want $450.00 for their stainless header.('02 Wrangler)....$300 for the cat-back. Anyone know where to find them cheapest? Thanks,Hank.

bishop manifolds in dallas sell oem style for 125 shipped to your door... I replace 2-5 a month on my used tjs it is very common they crack at 60K + miles

The herculiner wasn't *that* bad to do. The only thing left in the tub was the dash. He bought the kit that comes with everything you need for $100, I believe.

OH...you guys did it yerself? I thought this stuff had to be "sprayed" on like a stucco type deal....

No, we got the paint on stuff. The kit came with rollers and a brush. Quieted things down a bit too, granted, the carpet was out last time we went wheeling.

I have a Banks header on the way from 4x4groupbuy.com for $395 shipped.

I opted for the Banks vs. the Borla since I have a very early model '97 (made like 5/96 i think) so the Borla would have required cutting/welding that is beyond my skills and availiable tools. The Banks should be a bolt-on replacement.

Oh, and the cat-back stinger system is $265+ $30 shipping from 4x4 GB too.
