I'm asking about a new, new ventura, not one out of an old truck, they have a package NV 3500 to Dana 300 transfer case adaptor, but I have no idea what the 3500 is like for strength, compairable to what?
Anyone know New Ventura transmissions

NV3500 has been used for a number of years in Chevy trucks behind small block V-8's, and has been very durable. I can't remember the last time I saw a broken one, as a matter of fact, and I am a dealer tech. Take it for what it's worth. I wouldn't be afraid of it.
