The ones you like.

No.

There are some sizes hard to find like the 12 inch. Or if you like using them for several years, the pre-lubed silicon ones are available in color, a big variety of sizes, and also colored arms and carbon fiber which tends not to get as clogged up with ice.

Personally I like the Silblade, but they are a tad more expensive than APC Silicon.

or google for silblade.

I find that winter (snow) blades seem to last much longer... But they are not available everywhere (something about snow, IIRC!)

Other than that, like Lon says: whatever floats your boat!

Personally, I'm having the best luck with OEM.

Others, including the expensive teflon ones have been ratcheting on me. The OEM blades I put on a few months ago have been the best so far

I ran a set of the first generation red Silblades for almost ten years with no squeaking, etc. and only changed them because I accidentally hit one with a pressure washer and there just happened to be a sale on the carbon fibre armed ones when I went looking for a replace. The fibre armed ones refuse to squeak as well, plus they fit that silly 12 inch Jeep size. Actually they fit nicely if you go one inch over stock.

Factory blades or any rubber type d> Personally, I'm having the best luck with OEM.

So you're saying 13" blades fit a Wrangler just fine? They have 13" in my local discount/clearance store. Since they don't last long, I'll use cheap ones.

I buy Mopar. They last as long as any and are priced about the same.

Well, just to toss my $0.02 in, brand is less important. I've found the 'winter' blades seem to last much longer than other types. (Those are the ones with the rubber on the metal parts)

I have a YJ and if they have any eleven inch blades at all I will take them. Winter blades seem to be good though.

Same size blades fit my H1, too. And, yes, they are one PITA to find. I usually have to special order them.

FYI amazon was having a sale on those new bracketless style wiper blades but I don't think they come in size 11" There are a couple of 11" brands such as Trico Teflon $9.99 and Bosch 40811 $8.20 there and they qualify for free shipping.

Humm, I'll have to take a look. Anyone have experience with the Trico Teflon ones?

I use the Silblade wipers, the newer model with the carbon fibre holder. Never squeak and survive western summers and winters. Available in short sizes. However I've discovered that a 1 inch overlength rarely causes a problem and you can always take a pair of scissors to the blade if it does.

My sister swears by them, she lived in Alaska for a few years. I have different conditions here in the Sierras, sand used on the roads in winter wears the blades down fast regardless of what they are. The "winter" blades tend to fill with water in the day and then freeze in our "mild" winters. Plain Tricos work best for me, replaced every fall.

To star another religious discussion, I like Rain-X. Keeps bugs and ice from sticking so bad. I don't even have to use my wipers when i am above 45 MPH.

I remember using something called Triple-Edge blades in the 80's. Best darned wiper blades I've ever used; went 6-7 years one one set and they never deteriorated. I believe they were made of silicone, not rubber. Haven't seem them around for a while; might google a set up, if they still sell them.
