The two red wires in the WOT photo are the choke wires and plug.
Once heated up, the choke should be wide open. You can verify this with the air filter off. Use your finger to make sure there is some load on the choke plate holding it open. The plate shouldn't 'flop' around. The engine must be running to test this.

That is the only oil leak I have on my 86 CJ7 and the cap is only a couple years old.

*blush* dieseling gone... idles between 600-700RPM now... pretty smooth.The big test will be tomorrow morning.

PCV filter has oil on it... Also have a lot of leaks now... Looks like valve cover and below the distributor?

Just to double check, the PCV valve is the one at the back of the valve cover?? I've checked Chiltons and it certainly looks like it. My jeep also has what apears to be a PCV valve at the front of the valve cover (the first hole behind the oil fill hole). Is this normal? I far as I can tell, this hole should not have something like that in it. What should be in that hole?
