Hi folks - I'm installing an EVS-II "Security Plus" system in my vehicle, which already has keyless entry.
("EVS-II Security Plus" Mopar P/N: 82204268 + harness Mopar P/N:
82204685)While the unit appears to be arming, disarming and triggering properly (based on the relay clicking noises inside the EVS-II module), I don't see any parking light flashing. There also doesn't seem to be any hookup on the EVS-II harness for parking lights. Per the instruction manual, I've wired up:
- lock/unlock motor in driver door (arm/disarm the system?)
- unlock sense in passenger door (???)
- courtesy light under the dash (trigger the alarm?)
- 3-wires off the ignition harness (looks like starter kill)
Anyone out there know if this system is capable of providing parking light flash / horn honk with the Grand Cherokee when triggered?
