The rear hatch lock has decided to stop working. It locks/unlocks fine (in that pressure when turning the key feels typical). But when I push the inward button it doesn't 'catch' like usual.
Last time it shut was unremarkable. Nothing got in the way of the door or the latch. Really pushing on the hatch does allow some 'give' so the problem shouldn't be due to something being wedged in there.
Any tips on fixing this before I go pulling the rear cover off from inside? I seem to recall the lock assembly being rather difficult to access from the interior side of the hatch.
