I am look for suggestions for a long arm kit for my TJ. As of now, my shocks and springs are shot, and I keep blowing out control arm bushings because something is bent under there. So I am looking for pros and cons of the different kits out there

My post never showed up on my browser, but let me add a little more of what I am looking for. I don't care how much cutting and welding has to be done. It needs to be strong, as I am very mean to my equipment. I want a good $$ also. JEEPER, Thanks for replying. Ive read about the RE and of others, including small shop type kits. From just that, Im leaning toward the lesser known brand, but why do you think its the one I should get?

I have the RE kit and I like it, however... I have already bent a control arm on it. Not sure its the kit for you due to that. You will want a belly up skid tho!

There are a bunch of long arm kits out there and you can make yourself half crazy trying to compare and contrast them. Don't ask me how I know that %-) I read every thing I could find on any long arm kit I could find and I can summarize the comments for you right here: Kit ABC is the best, or Kit ABC sucks.
Finally what I did was look at what was working well at my local 4 wheeling sites and bought the same thing. In my case it was the RE Extreme Duty 4 =BD inch Long Arm Kit. I chose it for a number of reasons. First it seemed to work well, second the welding required isn't critical to the strength of the kit, third its been out for a while and quite popular so hopefully all the bugs have been worked out. I am quite satisfied with its performance both on and off road. It is mucH, muCH, MUCH better than the 4 =BD inch short arm kit it replaced. The thing is super stout, but I'm sure any kit can be bent with enough abuse.

I have had TJ's with every lift out there..(almost) the RE have been the best driving ones.. I have had several with skyJacker which are ok too but the hiem joints wear out quickly & you have to put up with a lot of popping noises.. its very irritating to me.. Now I have NOT had one with the fab-tech lift but I hear they are good.. In my opinion I believe the RE is the nicest kit out and they drive extremely well on road! just my 2cents!
