Fiesta Mk4 Spoler - fitting kit?

Question

HiI've recently been given a Mk4 spoiler for my fiesta and am planning thefitting procedure to my boot. My initial plan was to remove the bolts fromthe spoiler, place some kind of marker on the holes and position the spoilercorrectly, thus marking the paintwork whereI could drill four holes. There is one major flaw in my plan... that being Icant bloody remove the bolts!A quick Google search came up with a website that sells these spoilers withfitting kits and templates... but they will not sell the templatesseperately :(Has anyone had a similar problem? Any suggestions on how to fit the spoilercorrectly?  (bar taking it to a garage, or buying said template kit withanother spoiler!)TIAMoby.

Turn it upside down, stretch a bit of paper across the mounting surface(s) and poke a pencil through the paper into the mounting holes. You now have a template.

Anyway - if it's a bit wonky no one'll notice, they'll be too busy wondering why cars with spoilers look so naff.

You'll have to remove the bolts when you fit it, surely? Unless they're studs that you fit nuts onto. Anyway, I'd get the bolts out and bond the thing on. It's not coming off, but you might as well avoid drilling holes in the bodywork.

Probably strong double sided tape, but that method sounds a bit dodgy to me.Mike.

Tigerseal is pretty fierce stuff.Google suggests stuff like Puri-flex, Silkaflex, flexibond etc. try yourlocal auto / paint factors.
