Just nearly completed swapping the old Carter for a Motorcraft 2100 in my 82 CJ7. Ran into a couple of surprises I've not seen anyone mention however. First, I thought I'd read a 9" air cleaner assembly would work with power brakes - not even close. Going to have to scrounge for something smaller. A bigger problem however is the fuel inlet on the
2100 - it's MUCH smaller than the pre-fabbed fuel line from the old carter. Hope the auto store can hook me up tomorrow...
