Just a short advisory for all who enjoy the OHV trails in the National Forest system. The roads are going away. I recommend that list members check with their local National Forest office (or check the website under plans and projects) for the status of the OHV Route Inventory status. Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest closed out their public comment phase last night. All roads which did not receive a request to stay open, will be closed and access prohibited. Some national forests may be behind the curve and may still be taking public input. Refer to the "OHV Route Designation Guidebook" available online.
