Natural red head, or from a bottle?

Tom, I have had very good luck with Saddleman leather/part vinyl seat covers. Excellent fit and no problems in almost 3 years. I tried Bestop earlier, but those developed small cracks in several areas within a couple of months. Regards,

I got the Smitttybuilt seat vests and am happy with them. They are not waterproof, (actually kind of spongy - can you say soggy bottom when it rains) but I got them to cover a rip in the original seat cover. They also have alot of handy storage pockets on them.

My best advice is to avoid any neopreme seat cover like Wet Okole makes. While neopreme seat covers look cool and fit great when they are new, neopreme as a seat cover material has a few problems... first, neopreme is not waterproof (despite some advertising claims), it is only water resistant. That means it soaks up water if it sits any length of time. I've sat on more than a couple wet neopreme seat covers that couldn't be simply dried off with a towel, I had to sit on a towel to avoid getting soaked. Then neopreme also soaks up perspiration which means it can start to smell like a locker room after a while. Then the colors of the nylon that covers the neopreme will, if colored anything besides black, fade dramatically and unevenly if it sees much sun. Finally, some neopreme seat covers like Wet Okole are as expensive to buy as are some complete seats are. Their pricing is just plain crazy-high.

I've had great luck with some vinyl seat covers, most notably Bestop's. They fit like a glove, good enough that they don't look like a seat cover. They're also textured so they don't feel slick like most vinyls do. Not to mention they cost one-third the cost of Wet Okole's do.

Did I metion I'm no fan of Wet Okole seat covers? ;)
