T5 Replacement Tranny?

Can I replace the T5 transmission in my 84 CJ7 with an AX15? I mean, is it a direct swap? Is any other unit a 'bolt in' swap for the T5? I have a Dana



300 transfer case hanging off the back of the tranny. Charles
