I just got done watching a program on Discovery Times Channel. The programgave the insight on the new Nissan Titan, Ford F150, and Hummer H2 and 1.At the end of the show, the people that were in the Milwaukee, WI. HummerStealership said that one reason they could afford this H2 was because theycould deduct 3/4's of the purchase price off their upcoming taxes. Theelgibilty was because they are a business owner and purchased a "HeavyWeight" truck. I have never heard of this. Anyone else? I still willnever buy one!.

If you can afford a new hummer, I bet you are probably not in the 10 or 15 percent bracket!

Mike... you are in Canada, correct? This sounds like the US tax code. Is Canada's tax system identical? Just curious.

I don't know, but it is likely a lot the same.

As a small business, you can claim some basic deductions as a flat rate. If you need to go above that for any reason, you must save all the receipts.
