Mahalo (thanks) to all of you for the information on the timing etc. Reset the timing and adjusted a few other things and all is well. Runs good, idles good and smooth acceleration. Also as an unrelated issue, I replaced the Oxygen sensor because things seemed to be running a bit rich. this seemed to have fixed that issue, at least so far. Joe in Maui
