Marine Corps, 3rd 8" Howitzer Battery. This camp (head quarters platoon) provided the southern most security for the construction of the airstrip at Chu Lai, RVN. Our three gun platoons ranged from north of Quang Ngai City (10 miles further south) to Tam Ky (10 miles north).
