Universal U bolt ?

Are the U bolt upgrade from the strap type made of anything special, or can I just go get the right size stainless U bolts at the local lumber yard? Also does a LockRight locker require the limited slip additive?

Canadian Tire has the conversion u-bolts for my 86 CJ7. They are not like the hardware store ones, they are flattened where they go around the cap of the u-joint.

They also have the stock replacement straps and bolts cheap too.

You can buy those ubolts from an auto parts store, and no, the LockRight does not require limited slip additive.
