Did you realise that a KIA sportage specifically excludes corrosion other than bodywork from the Warranty. Our sportage could have killed our son who going around a bend had the power steering pipe break because of corrosion. Its done 34k miles and never been off road. Kia say it is not covered by the warranty. It is very scary going around a sharp bend and finding suddenly that the steering is suddenly unturnable!!!! Check the pipe under your the power steering pot. If it can corrode out that quickly we are not the only people its going to happen to!
