Time has come to replace the shocks and steering damper again on my 1988 RR (I tow daily and carry a lot of weight regularly and I do destroy shocks quite rapidly....
Last time I fitted DeCarbon's which have lasted about 4 years, which is by far the longest of any so far, but I've been tempted to possibly fitting Koni adjustables this time. They are a little more expensive (£33 + vat for the De Carbons - £50 + vat for the Koni's).
Does anyone have any experience of the Koni's? The only opinions I've been able to find are of those who want to sell them and aren't really impartial.
I've no objection to paying the extra if there is a noticeable difference otherwise It'll be a another set of DeCarbons.
BTW, I found an enormous price difference for the Koni's depending where you order them, most Expensive RPi Engineering at £90 + vat each...(Sheesh) Most Reasonable - Dingocroft £50 + vat for the very same thing.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
