Took the top off the carb today with the intention of checking the float level. While examining the floats, thought the join in the plastic looked a bit iffy, so pulled the floats off and sure enough one or both is part-full of petrol.
floats from spare carb in it now, hopefully they will. Float, that is. quick run up the road shows it might be fixed.
anyone know if a) Zenith floats are prone to this or b) if they're available as a spare part, or as part of the rebuild kit?
